Some systems interpret "Alt Gr" as "Ctrl + Alt", making it appear as if the "Left Ctrl" key is pressed when you press "Alt Gr". Depending on your keyboard layout, the pressed key may appear in the wrong place — this is normal. Keys not present in the layout will be detected as "undefined".
When you move the mouse across the surface, the mouse coordinates should increase or decrease smoothly. If the mouse is not moving, the coordinates should not change.
The actual key layout on your keyboard may vary. Your system should be set to the US layout.
